Graphene Oxide
Graphene oxide dispersed in water
Graphene oxide is noted for its mechanical and thermal properties. The starting material is graphite, which is chemically processed to obtain monolayer flakes of graphene oxide. It is available in various concentrations and quantities, as shown below.
Graphene oxide water dispersion concentration | 0.5 (mg/mL) | 4 (mg/mL) |
Quantities (mL) | 90 – 100% | 3 – 5% |
0.01 – 1% | ||
2 – 6% |
Applications: Graphene/polymer composite materials, batteries, biomedical, solar cells, supercapacitors, support for metallic catalysts, low permeability materials, biosensors, multifunctional materials, graphene research
